Anyone else hunting for a shiny UB atm? I've not seen a single person actually get a shiny UB and show a picture yet aside from the guy who used a patch on his game to find one.

At the very least they are doing the service of confirming if UBs are shiny locked or not.
All I've seen at this point is a single picture of a shiny stakataka and that's it, so i'm wishing them luck purely out of self interest.

That makes no fucking sense at all. You're still playing the game, just because you hacked your system to avoid paying/getting the game early doesn't mean you have to hack to cheat in the game, those are two 100% different things.

Just because you can cheat doesn't mean you don't want to play the game properly. People don't generally hunt shinies for the color difference, it's the fun & satisfaction of having something rare in your collection that you got legit.
