DS went out with a bang with Black 2 & White 2. Vice versa for GBA with Emerald. GBC with Crystal. The 3DS era went out with a fucking whimper...

Crystal wasn't really a bang, it also sold the lowest out of all games, I think it'll be the same here.
USUM does more than Crystal but the standards and expectations these days, especially in the age of DLC, are much higher.

What exactly are the problems with USUM? I haven't seen the leaks.

I mean, I know it won't ever match BW2, but SM also didn't match BW, so that's not a fair comparison.

We expected fixes for most of SM problems along with good content. Instead we got SM + new UBs and a online exclusive facility that doesn't even scale your pokémon levels properly.

I thought it was supposed to be like the battle factory? That's dissappointing.

Are there new cities or updates to cities like in BW2? I remember that BW2 was also lazy in some places, keeping NPCs the same with the same dialogue, but at least there were some different areas and a different route you took through the world.
