Same situation here, except this is the best game

It made me like the Sinnoh region. Mostly due to being able to get the cross evos before getting the National Dex and the Battle Frontier was fun.

BW2 and USUM. BW was my first game but I didn't enjoy it. Then BW2 came out so I gave it a go. It. Was. Amazing. It was then I knew I was addicted to Pokemon. XY came out an I truly hated it. And I quit Pokemon. I promised myself I would never buy any more games after that. Then the latest USUM trailer came out. I loved it. Few days after, I downloaded it on my 3ds and adored what they've done since BW2. Sure the first half of it was really shitty but things then got real. So far I love the game and is listed as my favourite game next to BW2

Gen 2 is my favorite, the leveling sucks, the movesets are ass, and a lot of cool gen 2 mons arent available until the post game. But I love the way it looks, I love the way the mons look, the music is great, I love the comfy feelings I have for gen 2. I know it's all nostalgia but just thinking about what it would be like to live in the gen 2 games is just orgasmic.

Gen 2 is one of the best and one of the worst at the same time. I love the towns, music and most of the new mons. The worst thing is that it could have easily been so much better by simply giving importan trainers more Johto mons and make at least one pokemon of all Johto lines available before the elite 4.

All the same reasons why I loved this game the most. Let's face it, Diamond and Pearl had a shit regional Dex (Chimchar and Ponyta were the only Fire-types). Plus it got Giratina to be my absolute favorite Legendary. Also I took the Battle Frontier much more seriously and did much better in it than in Emerald.

This really. In terms of how much I like them and how much I enjoy playing them it goes GSC > Pl > HGSS > B2W2 > BW > RB > FRLG > Y > DP > everything else. Doesn't mean it doesn't have problems, they just don't bother me as much.

I love Hoenn as a region, it has so much variety from Volcanoes to Oceans to Shipwrecks. Having both Team Aqua/Magma as antagonistic forces was a really nice idea as it brings together Ruby and Sapphire into one definitive experience. I love the Pokemon and the music. And the Battle Frontier was a really nice way to keep me playing once I beat it, even though I was fucking shit and only ever beat Lucy.

Probably BW2 because I love Gen 5 overall and BW2 has more going on than BW1. It's a shame the story and feel of the game is downplayed compared to BW1, and it has a pretty bad start, but it when it gets good, holy fuck does it get good. Pretty damn good regional dex too, even though whenever I play BW2 I still end up using mainly Gen 5 mons anwyay.
