Either a blatant lie or Game Freak admitting that they're too incompetent/lazy to get the most out of the system. None of the Pokémon games even scratch the surface of what the 3DS has been shown to be capable of.

I don't know if this was in vanilla SM but at the pokemon centre, Nurse Joy will always point out your first party pokemon when she hands your party back.

This plus Hau plus the gimped overworld following... felt like a massive cock tease.

I'm sure they wanted to put it since SM. USUM being what SM should've been in the first place probably had, but being incompetent as they are, it probably had some glitches and GF couldn't optimize.
