Because the bosses at GF demanded an idea be implemented terribly per their rule and some employee had to sneak in normal controls in a way they wouldn't notice.

I'm not complainng that they gave an option. I'm annoyed that it's essentially hidden off in an unrelated area since you can apparently swich which cover legend you ride in that ultra space place with the ultra recon squad.

Or even as you launch the Poke Ride you can choose which controls to use.
