So, yes, they're good.
I hated DPPt so imagining it without HM's, with a fixed story (honestly Ohmori could probably write a better one than the one currently in Plat,) with faster battles and better mechanics, new Alola forms (which would fix the type distribution,) and various other updates - not to mention lots of other cool things, like all the new areas in 3d - imagining like this with all of these changes, it would be totally worth it to me to try it again. Maybe I'd even like it this time.
That's the promise of a remake.
