Apparently you forget that Kyurem is part ice type, literally the worst defensive type in the game. And when you've got things like mega Lucario with 112 speed, 145 base attack and a STAB, adaptability boosted close combat.

Sincere question, I'm familiar with the Smogon meta, not too much though. If usage doesn't determine placement, then what does? If lando-t has 90% usage, doesn't go to Ubers, why does something from uu get sent to bl? Is Ubers a banlist? I thought it became its own tier after mega fug fugged it all up? Why doesn't deo-n drop down? Reshiram?

Yes. Ubers and all the borderlines are banlists for their respective tiers (ie. BL is the banlist for UU, etc)

Ubers is a banlist that got bloated with so many pokemon that it became its own tier, it's still a banlist though and isn't usage based

The banlists are for pokemon that unranked in say ou, but are too strong for uu

He also is an indirect timer in his many movesets so he kinda speeds up play a lot.Snorlax basically forces stall to play "neater" instead of engaging in more sloppy play because snorlax can abuse enemies that can't phase him well. You know all the top tier OU pokemon who have to do certain things to deal with Snorlax? Sans Snorlax they sin out of control.

Same for LAndo-T without him physical powerhouses run rampant in OU because it's the only one that can reliably keep them in check/counter and stop them.
