i'm playing it right now and i'm enjoying the increased difficulty and better Pokemon distribution. the little sidequests scattered about are quite fun too. also the battle agency seems like it'll be fun when i can go online.
it's a little costly for what it is but i know what to expect when it comes to Pokemon. it mightn't be going in the exact direction I'd like but I still enjoy it as a product.

There's virtually no difference using a cia that was dumped from a cartridge and the cartridge itself.

Except it's not the same thing, trainers in gen 4 have 2-4 Pokemon that are much higher leveled than the wild Pokemon in the area, while 90% of USUM NPC trainers have one Pokemon that is LITERALLY the same level or +1 to wild Pokemon in the area.

Yes, I'm sure that I found USUM slightly more difficult than SM, considering I played both with the exp share off.
Why would I lie about this? Yes, random trainers may have few Pokemon, but the actually notable battles are generally a bit tougher. I found the totem Marowak a lot harder than the totem Salazzle.
