They're the few sources of light Megaopolis probably has and are somewhere secure only for Wormhole travel, whereas Necrozma steals our Nebby cause it detected it once it fully evolved from Cosmoem.

Probably because they hid them from Necrozma as it was one of their last sources of light. Also remember Necrozma wasn't gonna chill out until you decided to beat it so chances are it would Hiroshima the place.

They specifically said that they used Necrozma for light, not their Solgaleo and Lunala. They literally had the solution to their problems right in the palms of both of their hands, yet never even THOUGHT of using them for god knows how many decades of years.

Also creates a huge plot hole. They were working with Lusamine and could have easily given it to her to let her travel between worlds. Instead she still does the same almost kill nebby bullshit just to travel there.

Again, they specifically say that their only source of light is using Megalo Tower to extract the remaining light Necrozma had. Meaning they DID NOT use their Solgaleo nor their Lunala for light.

That wasn't Ohmori, it was Iwao. Ohmori singlehandedly did all the trials for SM last minute with reused assets after everyone else cashed in their check. He saved the game from being completely mediocre. Iwao basically did fucking nothing for a year in making USUM.
