If I find a legendary inside the wormhole, can I quit from the hole in order to find it in shiny form in the future or is it one-time only?

You don't need to leave the hole. Legendary pokemon and UB's can be found shiny through the normal SR method and don't follow the shiny rule that the normal pokemon have.

Once you enter the wormhole, all its characteristics(ivs, nature, shininess) are set forever, even if quit and find another hole it will be the same.

You can quit. I've run into Thundurus multiple times after running away.
But >>34138734 is also right in that you can just soft reset right before the encounter starts as well.
Regular Pokemon have their stuff set on entering the hole, legends and UBs are at start of combat.

I know that, what I am asking is if I quit the hole without fighting the legendary, will I be able to find it in the future? For instance, if I save inside the wormhole and find a normal Zekrom, can I quit the hole and find the Zekrom in the future?
