First of all, the planet is PokéEarth, the same planet in which all games take place. Each world is a timeline in which a lot of weird stuff happened and exclusive pokemon were born. For example, you find Guzzlord in the ruins of Hau'oli city in a full poluted world
I don't think Xurkitree is the only pokemon in that Earth's timeline
