So Iwao has considered implementing DLC into pokemon games in the future.
Pokemon Switch will most likely come out in 2019, though in worst case end of 2018. A decent gap without new mainline pkmn.
Imagine if they use USUM as the first game to include DLC (paid or free)? Finish off the areas like the waterfalls/volcano, unlock golf course with some story quest, make Ultramegalopolis into an actual city with battle facility, add some new UBs or mythicals. Additional tutors.
This method of releasing content would put to rest most complaints about the games being rushed. If GF can't release a complete 3D game in the timeframe they allocated, this method might work better for them.
If DLC was paid (no more than $10), would you get it? If it was free, would you be satisfied with the games?
