>>34144514I don't think Pikachu wasn't actually "talking" I think what that scene was trying to display was that Ash was "understanding" what Pikachu was saying, that's why his eyes widened, like it was the moment that they became one or some shit like that.
To the others, it would've just sounded like Pikachu was saying 'pika, pika, pika'
I think they just didn't get that scene right for people to figure out what they were trying to get across, Subtitles of what Pikachu was saying would've been better and having Ash understand it would've been more effective.
