>>34189844Yeah that's probably my favorite too. It's not really based on any one thing. You know the whole "Tiki cannibals hiding in the jungle shooting darts at Indiana Jones" thing you see in old adventure movies? Kind of that mixed with creepy puppets.
The first stage hides in temples and spits poison darts at trespassers.
Second can disappear and reappear in piles of grass. Their eyes glow when they're hidden giving the illusion that you're being watched by some monster, when really they're just terrified to come out.
The third is just some horrible monster. I had the idea that it makes spider strings from it's fingertips and dangles them down from the canopy. When people get caught in them, it plays with them like puppets, and eventually sucks them into a black hole in it's second face.
I had big fancy illustrations I made for funsies, but I lost the hard drive I made them on. Only this one was backed up.
