So I feel like this is hopeless, but does anyone know of a Citra build/tips on making Citra work functionally on a MacBook (2015 model).

Currently trying to play Star Sapphire on it, and it runs at like 8%...

Apple always sells shit CPUs more expensively in order to rip people off (the costs are about three times as much for EXACTLY THE SAME PROCESSOR as a windows computer) and also if you have a gaming computer processor you can expect the battery to run out very quickly. So it's a tossup between having your battery last and having a computer useless for emulation.

Citra can only use one core currently (or very low CPU usage equivalent to one core, judging by performance monitor). Come back in a few years and Citra will likely be faster. And no, I don't think that running Citra in a mac environment will cripple the sperd, crippled speed is due to bad single core performance.

Actually ended up getting it to run at around 75+% at all times, so not too bad. But yeah, its not the smartest purchase I ever made, that’s for sure.

Probably will invest in hacking a 3DS soon.

Yeah, except on some routes it’s getting closer to 55. Still playable, but a bit frustrating. The hacked 3DS ioption is sounding better and better.

Ultra moon from 3dsiso. Just get all the ROMs off 3dsiso.com if you are conversion challenged

Unzip folder, stick your rom in the 3DS To CIA Converter v4.1 folder, hit 3 for the converters menu and press enter, hit 6 and enter then enter the name of the Ultra Sun ROM (for example Ultra Sun.cia) then your computer will freeze for at least 15 minutes whilst makerom is working. Then there will be a file called YOURROMNAME-alt.3ds and that's the one you play using Citra
