Why the fuck are nupokemon so fucking big? Can you believe every disgusting """pokemon""" in this pic is bigger than Charizard Himself? I thought Pokémon was supposed to be POCKET Monsters. If they're not pocket monsters anymore, why doesn't Nintendo go back and fix Pokémon's sizes like Charizard and Nidoking??

Fuck's sake, 'zard doesn't even grow with any of his megas!!! Even the unovabort mega grows .4 meters in height so wtf

Least they could of done is let us have totems of ANY Pokemon we choose. And Charizard, I choose you!

The dex (especially in older gens) is just retarded about sizes. Charizard was never actually meant to be that small.

IMO anime are the canon sizes since they actually have to draw it out and not have some guy put down random numbers.

The Dex heights are all canon in the games now. Their models are all to scale according to Dex height (as seen in ORAS Dex) and they simply downscale/upscale them in-battle.

TBF, the Charizards in the Char Valley were bigger, making Ash's Charizard look like a monlet. The thing that one anon mentioned about height being a spectrum is probably true. I've always thought of Pokedex sizes as averages, though.

Oh, Pokemon sizes in the dex are definitely averages - and in the anime itself, there is no definitive height, they change around a lot.

It's just to illustrate that, no, even in the anime, Charizard is still considerably shorter than many other Pokemon.
