Because they try to shove a shitty story down your throat. B2/W2 at least has lots of features that still make it great despite some flaws but B/W are pretty bad.

Ive played every permutation of gen 5, the story is boring and the team is just stupid and ghetsis is boring, obviously those are just my shit opinions but the game never left an impression on me no matter how many times i play it
Still half of this board gets their pussy soaked at the mere mention of ghetsis, why i dont fucking know, hes basically giovanni but he looks retarded and needed an extra layer of unecessary depth to seem "complex" and "interesting" which he is neither of, same goes for N, hes basically zinnia, but /vp/ hates one and loves the other

Gen 6 was ass too dont get me wrong, both of them suffered from a case of taking themselves too seriously, gen 7 was actually a breath of fresh air and had some fun with itself

last Pokemon games that blew me away. Glad I didn't skip Black 1. Everything after B2 was alright, nothing that made me want to keep replaying. Also i recommend Blaze black 1+2,better than 3ds hacks.

The absolute state of Unovabortions.
The story is shit because they try to go for something a little bit "deeper" but instead of actually going through with it the whole thing just falls flat on its face. Also X/Y and S/M are even worse when it comes to story.

I liked Ghetsis because he and most of Team Plasma acted like actual ideolouges, really being about power and control rather than "Oh but we REALLY care for people, y'know?" Hardly the most original or cleverly written story ever, but it was tiliating enough. Then again I haven't played them in a while, so maybe the story actually sucks major donkey dick.

The second gym in Volt white is fucking horse shit. If you didn't catch a ralts you are absolutely fucked and there is no reason to have a gym with normal and poison gem boosted attacks at level 20. The fucking koffing has a normal gem boosted explosion

I guess they just dont bother me, i unironically enjoy the characters, ive done enough game grinding and power leveling in my time that sitting back watching cutscenes and seeing the characters is fun for me, but thats just my experience

You pretty much have to forego catching or training any pokemon except your starter until after the second gym or you just wont be strong enough without intense audino grinding. It works, but it sucks that you have to do it that way.

Probably, but I don't mind it much if they keep trying off-beat stuff. I don't care super-much about the story in Pokémon, I'm just here to catch some cool monsters. I do like the concept of alternate-dimension Pokémon, it was cool of Gen VII to add that
