PokeBank now allows you to upload and save your current save file to the cloud. Along with all achievements, current look of your PC and trophies.

Now with every new mainline installment your given the option to continue using your current save file saved on PokeBank.

Does anybody know if you can use pirated copies of Pokemon games with Pokemon bank or does that get you instabanned? And I’m referring to the games that have been out for a while (XY and ORAS)

It will reduce the sales of the games. Many people buy two versions because of not risking to restart their main save file, not for version exclusives. As much as I'd like to see it happen, I can't see it will benefit the company.
