Not really actually. It could have a decent niche with Trick Room and having a Gyro Ball that will be guaranteed to do max damage when the opponent has 101 or 88 Spe (As in it will have 150 BP coming off of STAB and a 131 attack no matter the investment of those bases and depending on if you use Lonely nature or Brave).
It probably will never get higher than RU and maybe NU, but it still has something going for it.

Oh and don't forget there's a lonely nature 0def evs 14def ivs set that lets it boost attack and not defence. So it can hypothetically really fuck up your day if you aren't prepped. Sorta like a more predictable magearna in a way, the trick room set that is.

It outspeeds everything, even scarves (which aggron cannot) with a single turn of setup.
It hits harder than aggron, what are you smoking dumbass, gyro ball is always going to be 150 BP and it has higher attack.
It can snowball with the lonely nature set giving it attack boosts, has just the right moves to run all sorts of z-bait sets (rockium and fightningium look good in particular) to abuse this even further.

Did you put in 13 base speed? If Tangrowth has 31 iv in speed then 98 is the minimum BP for Lonely Stak.
