>>34156736'They were honestly pretty lackluster and dissapointing. XY got no 3rd version/sequel, so a lot of stuff you'll be wondering about never got expanded upon or explainee. There will be Gen 3 remakes, but they won't have the Battle Frontier for what is arguably the dumbest reason, you'll hear it eventually. And Gen 7 ended up being pretty mediocre. Unlike XY, they do get 3rd version games, but don't expect the BF to return, or even the PWT like how I was hoping. Instead we got a shitty, flawed version of the Battle Factory. Overall, you'll like some of the new gimmicks, one of two that's going to be revealed for XY actually, but GF kinda stopped expanding upon them, the aforementioned one they don't do anything with after the Ruby/Sapphire remakes. Trust your future self, you're really going to miss the DS era of Pokemon'
