>>34162484I go above and beyond what normal people do. I'm not sure what you mean by this.
I have OCD. OCD makes me do incredibly stupid things in videogames. For Pokemon, I learned how to RNG abuse because of matching pokeballs before breeding was an option.
I am willing to RNG Colo/XD for ribbon pokemon in good balls. It will takes me hours to trade all those damn balls over. Anything that needs a luxury ball will require me to win multiple master rank contests just so I can trade them to the stupid game to catch the things I need. You can only get one per game otherwise, but hey. I am able to get more in the stupid game's rules, I'll do it. It will take forever, but I can do it.
I am willing to RNG abuse multiple IDs in HGSS for usable, shiny legendary pokemon. (Which is what you have to do for every good spread; it involves beating the game multiple times) It's a price I can pay, as I have access to multiple Johto balls and reset if the shiny kills itself. I have done IDs for wild pokemon that I want in Johto balls since you couldn't breed it back then.
I also RNG abuse in Gen 5 for usable pokemon in good balls. RNG abuse in Gen 5 is stupid easy outside of Entralink. I *still* have things in my damn forest that I need to abuse whenever I can be assed to learn how to because they're exclusive to DW. (HA Spinda with Super Power) Gold bottle caps means I can just get the nature now, but whatever.
I am willing to spend hours RNGing Tapu Lele as a perfect HP Fire and waste my only two love balls on it each attempt. It will suck, but at least it's only a few minutes each attempt.
I'm the exact opposite of impatient when it comes to dealing with this sheer stupidity. I just do not see the point in trading for balls that were most likely hacked when I am capable of hacking them myself.
This is not just one damn legendary pokemon. Shiny pokemon take longer to RNG abuse, and there are 24 legendary pokemon that I will need shiny and not shiny in good balls.
