>>34160940It depends. If you liked SM, you might get really disappointed that the entire climax has been removed and replaced with something entirely different. Lusamine is still a crazy, child abusing bitch, but now there's no Nihilego fight, so she doesn't get redeemed. And Mother Beast Nihilego doesn't exist anymore. And instead of Lillie going to Kanto, it's Gladion instead, but unlike Lillie he doesn't say goodbye. He does, however, come back (with a Kanto starter on his team, because we haven't gotten enough of those already...).
The new climax is really anticlimatic. The Necrozma-Fusion fight is extremely underwhelming, it's defeated REALLY easily. And immediately afterwards you're sent to Megalopolis which, to nobody's surprise, is just an empty corridor with nothing to do other than fight Necrozma AGAIN, this time in its True Forme, which will outspeed everything and OHKO anything that doesn't resist both Rock and Psychic type moves or has good bulk. And after that you're just sent to the League.
After the League, the game just does NOT give you any room to breathe in AT ALL. You're immediately sent to Poni Island to capture 2 UBs, then immediately sent to Fastival Plaza to be forced into playing the Battle Agency bullshit against some dumb Team Rocket grunts, and then the RR episode begins. However, it's done in no time, so don't expect anything grand or huge. You'll just battle some strong NPCs with Legendaries on their teams and read uninteresting, poorly written dialogue for half an hour.
After that is done, you're free to do whatever you want. Which is exactly the same as in SM, only with the addition of the Ultra Warp Ride for free Legendaries and shinies. The Battle Tree isn't different at all.
Also the mission with Anabel and Looker is gone too.
