I don't understand how people can live like that, especially in this climate where a new potential goty is released almost every month. Nier, Persona 5, Mario Oddesey, Cuphead are all games I don't think I'll forget anytime soon. They're missing out on so much.
Fuck, there are even many great games that aren't necessarily goty contenders, like Shovel Knight/its free DLC campaigns, Gravity Rush, Samus Returns, Sonic Mania etc
Knowing that there are people here who genuinely ONLY play Pokemon and miss out on all those great titles is honestly depressing to think about, ESPECIALLY with how the last 4 pairs of Pokemon games have been 7/10's at best.
