The only defence those games have is the date when they came out. DS games couldn't have DLC.
I hope you understand that if Crystal, Emerald or Platinum came out in this day and age (Along with their initial paired versions of course) when dlc is so common and easy to implement we'd have the same fucking complaints.

Secondly, its STILL retarded because Gamefreak had moved away from enhanced versions for a while and instead created a pair of sequels, an infinitely better option. By making enhanced versions again they've fucking regressed.
