>>34165797ORAS isn't THAT BAD. It actually did a lot of things well. It's just the worst remake. Especially since they not only didn't include the battle frontier, but they even TEASED the battle frontier within their shitty replacement as a "fuck you". Also, a lot of areas that were previously challenging and fun were redesigned for filthy casuals (Sky Pillar change was welcome tho. Seriously, fuck the old Sky Pillar).
XY was pretty meh. It introduced mega evolutions which are pretty neat, and it was the first 3D pokemon game which was also pretty nice, but the balancing was awful. Once you got ahold of your first Mega and the EXP share (which was changed to share between your full party this gen), the game became too easy.
SuMo is the only really good Pokemon game on the 3DS so far, not including virtual console or Ultra SuMo.
