Can you start from Unova? I was never really into Kanto and Hoenn is my least favorite region. Sinnoh and Johto are cool but Unova is a lot better imo

Probably, but you'll have to wait for the update to hit before creating a char (or start in any region and wait until you get 4 badges, at least that's how it works when traveling kanto <-> hoenn

How does this game differ from "pokemon revolution online(PRO)"? I played "PRO" about a year ago, it was prity fun but a grind fest. Is it worth investing time in pokemmo?

PokeMMO is an emulator that just so happens to add a ton of shit to the Pokemon roms, since they don't provide the roms on their own they are safe. They even consulted a lawyer.

nah its more of a game engine that needs the roms for the graphics and sounds, the rules and the online is all done by the program itself, technically the game could run without the roms but doing so would mean a hassle to get all the sprites and textures and they can't give them to download

Not him, but do you need roms for emerald, hgss, and no Inova? I remember years ago playing it when it first came out, it needing only a fire red room. I think there was a tourney at one point where the prize was Dratini line.
