Why does GameFreak suddenly love the Surskit line since Gen 6?

Gamefreak probably only buffed masquerain BECAUSE Guzma had one. Just like they gave ariados a small buff, without touching ledian

It's thematic?

Guzma uses intimidation and toughness as a facade, but he's really not all THAT bad underneath. Pinsir is the only odd one out I guess
