>>34170002Gen 8 to me is too much of a wildcard, i have no idea what to think, but my gut feeling tells me DP remakes will come in 2019, because Platinum was released in 2009. And the games, like HG/SS will be using the good aspects parts of platinum. Not saying i haven't lost faith in gamefreak already though. Gen 9 will at this point be 2 years after, and this for every gen like clockwork in the future, and i'm guessing most will feel rushed and bland.

The only thing that really triggers me with the online meta right now is the terrain war.
Every single battle has a tapu in it.
It feels similar to the BW Weather wars at this point, which i'll admit was the shittiest meta of all time.
I'm not gonna hate too much on gen 7 so far, because the story was good, the region is breathtaking and so on, but something feels a bit hollow.
And again, the jump from x/y to SM just isn't as crazy as say, B2W2 -> XY
