Those who actually suffer from the mental affliction are led to misery and self-harm by people who think they're doing God's work. I know that a lot of people say "oh why even care, they're 0.01% of the population". If a medical alternative such as drugs exists then why push people to get a drastically body-altering surgery? It seems cruel and self-righteous to me
