Actualy its stats make more sense than many more pokemon.
Its a magic filled ladybug warrior.
He is weak physicaly but his mind and body can stand a lot of psychic or elemental damage.

Well, if my Mega Ledian runs Knock Off (hihgly unliekly), then it should win with that 135 attack, and 98 speed. Unless I'm being stupid and astonish has priority. If so, Gastly wins. 25 defense is hard to work with.

This is part of what makes Megas such a flawed idea. One per team, who the fuck is going to pick Mega Ledian unless they're just having a laugh? I know a lot of the evolutions added in Gen 4 were ugly fucks but we need those to make a return if you ever want certain Pokemon to get a second chance at life. Even the lamest Megas would be picked over Mega Ledian.

Give it bulk up possibly make it bug/fighting. Now it can set up and actually use all those punching moves

It's a fairly drastic change but not too ridiculous. Maybe just put 20 in speed and 20 in either hp or defence and give it a possible type change so it can set up screens and now defog better. Also iron fist really needs to be buffed to a 50% boost like strong jaw and tough claws

I'll just let you know that Ledian is still faster than around 80% of all the new pokémon introduced in SuMo.
The average speed of this gen, counting legendaries, is around 67 I believe.

I feel like Mega Evolutions, rather than giving a flat 100 point boost (except for Alakazam), they should just aim for around 600 (excepts for pseudos and legends of course).

That doesn't mean it has to be usuable ingame. At least something like Butterfree and Beedrill have a decent showing until the midgame. Ledian evolves far too late for an early bugmon and has a godawful level up movepool.
