Nowadays it's a hassle to find the physical cartridges of the games and a DS to play them.
It's much easier to just download the ROMs and an emulator to avoid the hassle entirely.

Yeah I know what you mean. I bit the bullet and bought one and it was really werid because when I ordered one, they sent me an email telling me to send them the money via PayPal which I thought was shady. They gave me a tracking number afterwards and it took almost a month to get here since it was sent from overseas. But it works perfectly so I guess I bought it at a legit site

Haven't played any of the DS games on my phone yet but as far as GBA pokemon games go, it takes a bit of getting used to at first.
Since the controls are simple (up, down, left, right, A, B) it isn't as uncomfortable as one might expect.

Try configuring your settings so DeSmuMe runs faster since you don't really have any other options.
You could also try No$GBA but in my experience it's a slightly more shittier version of DeSmuMe

fps mean jack shit for a 2D game, anon. The movement is set, it'll always have the same number of frames (usually 12 or 24 per seconds), if you play in 60fps it just means you're playing in sped up mode.

Gen 4 was incredibly slow, though, and Gen 5 was silky, buttery smooth and not slow as molasses. 60 fps Gen 4 actually sounds pretty good, if you could fix the sound problem.

I got nds4ios and it seems to be working, but I cant add roms to it. I downloaded it as a rom but when I go to "open in" nds4ios doesnt show up. Even if I unzip it and try it with the nds file its still wont show up. How the fuck do you get this shit to work.
