3DS wasn't hacked until 6 months after XY's release. That's why pre-bank was so comfy. Trading, breeding, battling with the shit you raised yourself, and no crazy legends or injecting. Wifi was at its best then, especially with PSS. Brought back the Gen IV wifi days desu.

There was a guy who got a copy a week early and post this screenshots throughout the internet, I specifically remember people trying ti argue that grenjina and hawlucha were fake because of dumb shit like "the tongue scarf makes no sense!" I'm not a huge fan of XY but the launch period was fucking great. Here's hoping Switch doesn't get hacked before gen VIII comes out but it doesn't seem very likely.
