"Silvally" is just the nickname and since Type: Full/Null finally evolved into what he was supposed to be (a pokemon with RKS System as ability) the species just use the name for Gladion's buddy (Silvally). It's on Aether's files on the games and the Dex

Not quite anon. None of the Type: Full projects succeeded, so they were changed to Type: Null. Silvally isn't a Type: Full that had a helmet stuck on it then removed again, it's what the failed Type: Fulls were meant to be.

Only Speed, because the heavy helmet was removed.

The only difference between Type: Null and Silvally is that the helmet comes off and the RKS System activates.

It said nothing about them evolving. It said they rejected the RKS System and went berserk.

You can dislike it all you want, the mask is part of it, it can't go back on. The Aether Foundation couldn't make Type: Full/Null evolve, so they abandoned them. They evolve into Silvally.

But you're making that up. That isn't what the games state. The games state that Type: Full REJECTED the RKS system and got a mask put on it.
Silvally ACCEPTS the RKS system and breaks the mask. A Type: Full without it's mask can't use the RKS system. A Silvally can, because it's evolved to.

Yeah lore-wise it looks more like a forme change... but it's a PERMANENT form change, which at the end is what Pokemon's evolution is

Silvally saved Lillie from a Nihilego when she was a kid, Faba lied to Lusamine about it being a failure to cover up the incident, and put the mask on it.

Then Gladion stole Type: Null sometime later. The mask came back off when it needed to save Lillie again.

You fucking retard. Type: Null's helmet was put on it because Silvally needed to be restrained and frozen by Aether after they went berserk. Type: Null's evolution is barely an evolution because it breaks the helmet. It's just freeing itself from the shackles. There's in game text and official art to prove this.

2 You're wrong about the helmet thing too. The helmet was put there because the pokemon was out of control and unable to use the RKS system, so Type: Null without the hellmet is still different from Silvally. Even if the speed thing and your headcanon about the mouth moves was true, no hellmet Type: Null can't use RKS System and Silvally can, so it's a different form (but being permanent, it's an evolution). Also Silvally's "feathers" are white, not dark grey like Type: Null's and only Type: Null can use eviolite. Sorry you're just going against facts on the game.

The stats go up because the mask restraining is gone.

The ability can be used because the mask restraining the ability is gone.

Appearance-wise, the two Pokemon are completely identical except for the mask.

Why is it an evolution in the games? Who the fuck knows. It is literally a form change (and even that is stretching it cuz only the mask comes off).
