Did you play USM with the exp share on or off? How did you find the difficulty?

I played with it off, and I was really underlevelled. It made Hau an actual challenge since his Tauros and Noivern outsped fucking everything on my team. I was lucky that thing didn't have any fire coverage.

Off, on set, no z-moves, once I enter a route I won't backtrack like a little bitch after every battle.

It's very fun and challenging so far, level-wise I'm at the trainer's exact same level, I'm right before Mallow's trial. I do recall being ten fucking levels below Hapu in SM though, it was a fun struggle.

Totem Marowak gave me a lot of trouble, but luckily I managed to beat it with Grimer's poison.

Has there ever been a pokemon game with a semblance of well-structured teams and good A.I.? Is it even possible to code them to be remotely as challenging as the upper ladders on simulators?
