Pokemon Switch would be the successor of XY not SM.
So that means any of the Gen 7 pokemon or anything related to SM wouldnt exist in this timeline.

As for your question OP i would easily accept. Pokemon Z on switch would be legendary, XY were flawed but fixable titles.Sun and Moon even with remade is shit.Gen VII being forgotten would be the best outcome for everyone.
