Although I'll be playing Ultra, I'm gonna take a long break from pokemon after it. the 3DS era has burned me out honestly.

What other good games are in the monster collecting genre that aren't in a fantasy setting? My ideal game would be in a urban or modern setting, but can have good rural exploration areas, like in Earthbound.
