Make some stupid moves/abilities that are kind of cool in theory.

The user is sent into battle with +2 in attack but its moves are selected at random.

Would have the Encore/choice Torment issue. If it tries to use a move it can't it just struggles.

So it would hit like a truck if it chose correctly the first time, but every time after that it's got a 3/4 chance of struggling. And if it chooses wrong the first time it's absolutely useless.

Now, give it only one move and we're talking.

imagine this thing in gen 5. You could easily just forget the other 3 moves and just have a banded outrage dragon type. Even a steel type couldn't safely switch in, being a check at best.

How about "The user is sent into battle with +2 in attack, but may disobey" (Mechanically, as if it's a traded 'mon that you don't have the badges for)

What? No it doesn't. Berserker means out out of control, not unpredictable. Berserker types are usually immensely predictable but very hard to direct.
