Started as a somewhat funny pokemon version of pic related. Emerged after a Pokenchi episode, or whatever the show was called then, promised ORAS footage but delivered a rather unimpressive/cutscene trailer.

There is no doubt in my mind it was one guy forcing his picture everywhere. I was there on the specific night it started. He spammed it everywhere and it just caught on.
