>>34195340Platinum, HGSS and BW2 were the peaks of the franchise, yes. Even though all of them have flaws, they all hold everything in the franchise that we all hold so dear. Platinum was a culmination of everything from Gen 1, half of Gen 2, Gen 3 and of course Gen 4, while HGSS brought back what was missing from Gen 2 and added even more new features that are heavily missed by many in today's games. BW2, like HGSS, featured many new things and, together with BW1, were the first games to utilize and develop most if not all of its established characters, and were very well refined, being the least problematic games of the ones mentioned (with the controversy of them literally only being about angry children who were mad no old Pokémon were available in BW1).
