Popplio line seems to get the most hate everywhere, and with less defenders than the other two.

I always go for the starter that is liked the least because I feel sorry for them and want to give them love. I know owl gets a lot of love partially because of the anime and casuals, and I've noticed that Litten's popularity seems to have decreased thanks to his final evolution, while more people have grown fond of Popplio thanks to its final evolution.
