Not.that I hate it or anything but they could try fleshing out the game aspect of Pokémon next instead of giving us another subpar story again. It really deserves to be an open world adventure with branching choices and side quests and missions and etc. Its about damn time Gamefreak innovate instead of taking away features, changing them up or flat out reskinning them all the time and go the way of botw.
In fact, you dont even need to change franchise staples like rivals, gym league or the legendquests. Just focus more on replayability. I guarantee the game will pass /vp/s asinine checklists too. And it'll change the series for the better.
