Fuck this fucking yungoos and the smeargle right after it. This thing somehow takes hits like a champ and never loses a turn to paralysis, I've done this fight 5 times and lost everytime. How the hell do you beat this game without being a babby and grinding or turning on exp share?

My Rockruff only got hit once, flinched and para'd everyturn. Smeargle was beaten by my Mud Slap, String Shot, Bite Grubbin. Didn't go out of my way to grind either.

Its not, single player is only balanced with set+exp share off. Remember the default settings are intended for 10 year old retards. Exp scaled fine in SM without exp share (Elite four being the only exception being a whole 10+ levels higher)

Even if you had EXP share on you wouldn't even have gained an entire level from it by this point in the game. Even if you turned it off the second you got it, there would be literally zero difference in your level going into this fight.

Uhh yeah they've buffed the movesets and levels for a lot of the event fights. But be happy you didn't pick Litten because he gets raped so hard later on against the water pokemon - I wiped 3-4 times in multiple occasions coz Litten/Rockruff/Pikachu/Noibat can't deal with any water-type... and I have exp-share on xD

Everyone important has near perfect spreads, which I like, but it doesn't necessarily stop most people. Just replace ember with water gun or leafage. Plus, it has technician during a level 10ish fight.
