Things you want in Gen VIII.

EXP Share doesn't count as an item and each pokemon can either choose to use it or not.

All Trainers/Battles have their pokemon between 1~3 levels higher than your highest level pokemon. Some Trainers could be 3~5 levels higher.

What would you add?

Some real nitpicks would be changing up some of the sprites, giving gen VII pokemon a boost, and stop having everyone and their mother suck our dick in story.

/vp/ to get pruned mostly. But since this place is the kind of cancer that just keeps spreading...

The whole fucking first island in gen 7 is a tutorial with crap cutscenes. When I create a file ask if I want/need in depth tutorials. If I say no, don’t make me sit through the Pokémon catching demo or the town tour where I learn to use the center.

1% encounter rate on a brand new Pokémon, in a gen with a small number of new Pokémon, is dumb.

And to have incredibly good measures put in place so that nobody can every hack or inject or whatever to get illegitimate pokemon into the game ever again. And with those measures, make it so that this gen cannot trade back with any gens prior so that illegitimate pokemon cannot be transferred over.

Being unable to tell in most situations if the pokemon you were trading for were illegitimate or not because they can have completely identical stats to legal pokemon, or by not knowing if this seemingly legit pokemon was born from parents that have been tampered with, was absolute cancer. Anybody that cares about only having legitimate authentic pokemon lived in a nightmare as long as this was going on. There was almost no way to tell.
