It's a niche fighting game, and not even an anime fighter. It gets no DLC (supposedly because it's an arcade game and the director doesn't support DLC in games), and but gets patches. It sold modestly, and has a community as you'd expect from a Pokemon game.
It's not a popular game, but it wont be long until it dies. At least it's not doing as bad as ARMS.
