Ubers is only a pseudo tier, primary a banlist.
Nobody has any qualms with sending a pokémon that's too strong for OU to Ubers if the only counterpoint is that it will be shit there.

No need for a borderline.

Borderlines are Banlist for usage based play, Ubers is techinally BL0 and the end of usage based play.

Ever since Mega Fug Ubers is no different than any other tier. Best to treat it like any other tier and give it a BL for OU.

Ubers is not Usage based.

For a Borderline to exist you need to be based on Usage.

The thing is that it is zero reason to do it as long as BL's aren't actual tiers.
Every pokémon in Ubers are there because they're too strong for OU, not usage based, Ubers is more or less a BL0.
Literally the only place a "BLU" pokémon could play is in Ubers, so what's the point of making the tier when the distinction is meaningless?

Would splitting OU in two work? Top Ou would be D rank Ubers and A-ish rank OU Up and low OU would be the rest of OU and BL.

There are plenty of Ubers mons below 3.5% usage, and if I'm not mistaken that's the criteria for something to drop in any other tier.
I'm not arguing that there's any pressing need to create a BL between OU and Ubers, but if you wanted to there's a pretty easy way to figure out what would go there.

Doubt that's the reason since VGC threads on /vp/ get like 10 replies before archiving.
