Creatures owns 33% of The Pokemon Company. It's pretty fucking important.

This also explains why the models for Pokepark 1 and 2, and PokeDex 3D and Pro, were reused in Sun and Moon. Creatures developed all of these games.

They also developed the Detective Pikachu game for those who are interested in what the future of the Switch may bring.

Basically, TPCi is something the three companies set up so that they didn't have to keep running every single idea by each other. Now Nintendo, Creatures, and Gamefreak only have to give TPCi notes and they handle the rest.

Basically yes

Nintendo owns just enough of the Pokemon brand that Pokemon games can only be developed for their systems while still allowing Game Freak to operate as an independent company.

They made the models for Pokken too, and they provided HAL and Genius Sonority with the models for the Stadium games, Colosseum/XD, and Battle Revolution.

Basically they provide the models for any developer making a Pokemon game.
