>>34216301>>34216306Maybe they have never had actual friends in their lifes, thus not understanding what a friend or a best friend is. Also I think that the mentality still exists in the society where men can’t still show openly caring for one another without outsiders somehow backwards thinking that they must be gay for doing so. Not that gays don’t do this, but men can do it too without being gay. I don’t think being caring is exclusive to female friendships. But times are changing and hopefully the general atmosphere towards male friends ships and codes as well.
Then again, friend of mine was afraid to ask to hold their hand (they had anxiety attack in train) because they thought people would think we were gay because were the same sex. I hold their hands, because it was much more important for me to let them know that someone close is nearby, they are not alone and wait them to calm down.
