That's what I thought as well, but she doesn't seem to bear any ill will towards the Drifloon, and they seem to get along like friends. Also, Drifloon's Dex entries repeatedly state that the little thing is too pathetic to actually muster the strength to carry children away, even if it tries.

When I think about it, isn't it possible that she isn't dead?

Found that, too. The Hypno was probably the fucker from the "ghost class". What she said after that quest indicates that she hasn't seen it in a long time, but what of it?

Arguably this.

There's at least a clear resolution to BW2 girl, and we know that it wasn't really cold-blooded murder because it was previously established that Darkrai doesn't do that shit on purpose.

XY Girl was super vague and was just the sort of thing that gets wannabe YouTubers talking.

This sidequest was tame in that most of the horror is actually a bunch of misunderstandings, but the little girl's true situation is never fully revealed, and we can't tell if the Drifloon accompanying her is an innocent bystander or a murderer. This makes it significantly creepier.

Actually if we're talking about weird and strange events there's another one at the Tide Song Hotel.
If you go up to the 3rd floor and enter the 1st door you encounter on your right you'll find a Bellossom, a Comfey and a young girl. The Bellossom and Comfey will be making noise and such until all 3 notice you. The girl says something along the lines of "We can't be seen" and the Bellossom kicks you out, where you'll get an Oran Berry. If you go back they're gone and all that's there is a Fresh Water.

What's spooky to note is when Bellossom kicks you out, it's actually floating, like a ghost.

I don't think so. The little girl outright says that nobody knows what the seventh story is. Also, if the Drifloon killed her, do you really think she'd be happily running around getting Trainers to solve mysteries with it?

Is that story about the Machamp whose owner died in a car wreck still in? It's trainer actually recalled it into it's pokeball just before the crash to save it but that Machamp in grief threw it's own pokeball away and became a ride pokemon to the widow. Kinda sad, same with the abandoned stuffle in the hotel, when you go back it's just gone. Then there's the tell of how all those kids who were eveelution trainers ended up, the one with an eevee is just a fucking fucking cashier, one was scared of death and old age so much she got plastic surgery to always look hot even at the expense of her life savings, one has a severe case of memory loss, she no longer remembers her friends, her time as a trainer and barely remembers her own pokemon, one ended up as a nothing janitor and I think one just flat out died with her pokemon passed on to her grand kid and then there's one bitter about the past who battles you, then tells you to never bring this up again. That's way too realistic for a pokemon game, who greenlighted that depressing side quest?

This. That's probably one of the few things gamefreak are truly good at, writing small but memorable dialogue that can be really dark for a kids game at times. And sometimes some thought enducing stuff too.

You dingus have forgot about D/P/PT , the abandoned chateaou with the ghost girl and the ghost butler. Some says the little girl was Gardenia sister and that she murder her for whatever reason. (this is supported by the fact that she doesnt want to enter on that building cuz she's buisy af and afraid of the pokemon that inhabits it. But doesnt a gym leader suppose to be brave? Rly makes you think)

(they also did that memorable pkmn generation episode. spooky af)

I also wanted to say that the first time i've entered that building, the music..holy hell that music gave the most cold sensation

in the school you can find a notebook on the second floor behind the book shelf in the classroom with two pages and the rest are unreadable torn pages
it talks about how the girl was a new kid at school, they were playing really late and then she was picked up by a hypno
the next day a driftbloon comes to pic her up instead
that's all
