It's not a question of tastes, it's a question of choice. In BW AND BW2 I have more choices and pokemons, ancient or not, are actually plenty and from each types.

Fixed it for you. Gen VII has a number of flaws, but the one thing it got right were the designs.

Looking back on Gen V, while there are some strong designs like Golurk and Volcarona, a good number of them were pretty awful. Basculin? Klinklang? Zebstrika? The monkeys? Bert and Ernie? All of the legendaries (barring Zekrom and Dennis)? People shit on Garbodor, but that one isn't so bad- it's based on a kaiju, looks like what it's supposed to (a horrific trash monster), and completes the "types of pollution" trio that Muk and Weezing started.
