Just updated Poke Transporter on my 2DS but haven't got the option to update bank yet-both are saying they can't read the Ultra Sun game card or that I have to get the Poked before I can use bank (I'm on the second island so I obviously have it)

Anyone know why?

Which it won't, and part of the reason it costs money is for maintenance that ensures it's secure and doesn't have problems.

Because you need to use Transporter, not Bank.
